- שְׁאֵרִיתf. (b. h.; preced. wds.) remnant. Tanḥ. ed Bub., Toldoth 19 (ref. to Mic. 5:6) אלו ש׳ שאמרוכ׳ this refers to the remnant (of the faithful) concerning whom the Lord said to Elijah (1 Kings 19:18); Yalk. Jud. 62; Yalk. Mic. 553.
